Links

Here are just a few of the sites I have looked at. But please finish looking at the McLaren's before moving on.

The Highlands Tourist Board With so much to see and do in Scotland, let the professionals guide you around. A very helpful site with plenty other web links. You won't be disappointed.

Glencoe You may have heard of the Glencoe Massacre, well there is a lot more to this beautiful part of Scotland. This link is almost as good as a visit to the real thing

Scottish Clans, Tartans & Regiments This site covers Clans, Clan Societies, Families, Tartans, Kilts and Highland dress generally. Links to Regiments and Scottish historical Re-enactment organisations and Scots at Home and Abroad are also here. Elsewhere, the Genealogy section of Rampant Scotland Directory also contains references to some clan/family histories while Clan/Family Histories section covers over 100 Scottish surnames.

South Queensferry This site has a host of pages about the small town in which we lived until 2002. Lots of interesting information and a good few pictures too. Don't miss it

War Graves Commission One of my hobbies is family history, this site lists people who died in the defence of their country. If you lost someone during conflict they should be listed here.

B&B HortensiaThe guest house we stayed at in Belgium. I highly recommend this B&B and the owner Andre Parys is an excellent host.

Mountain Bothies Association Mountain Bothies Association is a charity which maintains about 100 shelters in some of the remoter parts of the UK.

The Dundee Courier The local paper where I stay it is the one I read. Lots of news and information without the smut.

Nikwax web quiz Nikwax retails a whole range of products to keep outdoor clothing in good shape. Take part in this quiz and win one of their items.

Petrolprices.com. Check to see where are the best fuel prices in your area.

Freecycle.org. Great site where you can offer any unneeded items and pick up someone elses unwanted goods FREE.
